The Cabbaggetown Regent Park Museum, Riverdale Farm location, was host to over 9,000 visitors from February to November 2009 despite being closed for two months due to the strike. Visitors came from as far afield as Russia, Ukraine, Australia, New Zealand, and China to name a few.
Upcoming Exhibitions

Lobby, Division 51, Parliament St.

The museum will be featuring a the history of the police in this area as told through individual stories. This exhibit will be open to neighbourhood residents and general visitors and will also be highlighted on local and out-of-area school tours. Themes include the Cop on the Beat; Women in the Service; and the Aboriginal Peacekeeping Unit. A highlight of the exhibition will be a display about Toronto’s very own “Sherlock Holmes”: Maureen Jenning’s famous eccentric detective, William Murdoch. The novels have since been turned into a Canadian television drama for Citytv with the third season airing in June 2010 and the fourth season filming in the same year.
